DolFinTech was formed through a strategic merger of DolEx Dollar Express Inc. and Barri Money Services, LLC in December 2022.
We have created a premier consumer financial services company, with aggressive plans to expand our acquisition channels and geographic footprint.
Our company and brands share a legacy of developing deep community ties, along with core values centered on customer service, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
DolEx is a multinational company with over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry offering a comprehensive selection of must-have products and services, including, amongst others, Domestic and International Remittances, Money Orders, Payments and Check Cashing.
As one of the leaders in the Retail Financial Services Industry, we take immense pride in our unique network of more than 400 proprietary retail stores and over 3,000 independent retail agents that, in partnership with us, serve and meet our customer’s needs.
In the US, we proudly serve the Hispanic community through our two industry-leading brands, DolEx & Quisqueyana. Our retail network has a presence in over 36 US states, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. In addition, we have retail operations in Spain!
DolEx is licensed as a money transmitter by the New York State Department of Financial Services.
Founded in 1985 in New York City, Quisqueyana began as a humble venture, offering money transfer services to Dominican immigrants.
Over nearly four decades, it has grown into a trusted brand widely recognized in the northeastern US, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, South America, and even Spain.
With a presence in over 30 US states, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, Quisqueyana proudly serves the Hispanic community, offering reliable and accessible financial services that have become a cornerstone of its enduring legacy.
Barri began as a family-owned business founded in 1984. For many years, its stores were located in the city of Houston only serving a small segment of the Hispanic community in the state of Texas. It was not until 2006 that a group of investors saw a great opportunity for growth and development that the company offered.
Today, Barri has grown and expanded to over 48 US states and Puerto Rico. With thousands of locations, and growing daily, the company, agents, and its employees are always looking for opportunities to make life easier for its customers and serve them with the warmth that characterizes the Hispanic culture.
One of our objectives is to become the preferred financial services provider for our customers to perform all their transactions. We want our customers to go into our locations and in one place they can do all the transactions, which is very convenient for them, and at the same time we will offer them excellent customer service and we will help them in their language of preference.
